Summer Bucket List

Independence day was so nice for my family. We ate hamburgers and watched baseball. What a great way to spend a summer day? I am grateful for the blessing to live in the United States of America.

Anyways… Even though summer is about half way over, there are still many opportunities to have fun. I sometimes find myself bored during the day, so I have created my own summer bucket list to help me stay entertained. I am going to try to do everything on this list before the start of the next school year.

  1. Whittle (something recognizable)
  2. Paint a picture
  3. Destroy a piñata with my friends
  4. Finish a game of Monopoly
  5. Read 5 books
  6. Write letters of friends in other states
  7. Walk to the library
  8. Become flexible enough to do the splits (comfortably)
  9. Stay up really late with my cousin
  10. Memorize Mazurka in B-flat by Chopin on the piano

This is a pretty good list for me. What do you want to do on a lazy summer day?

I am 19 years old. I would describe myself as a spunky and happy person. I love to read, draw, play the piano, and be outside. I love music, especially good ole classic rock. You can't go wrong with a saxophone and guitar solo in one song (i am looking at you Pink Floyd).

I’ve taken up watercolor, and I too hope my work is recognizable.

Watercolor is so fun! Thanks for reading and hopefully we can both create something nice. 🙂
