This world is amazing!! Here are some examples and quotes that help illustrate this.
1) Scriptures and General Authorites
Alma 30:44 states:
“All things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator”
How absolutely beautiful is that? I think that we don’t hear enough about this side of our Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ. I find hope and comfort when thinking about all the beautiful creations we have been given. Elder Gong says: “ I thrill to imagine Heavenly Father paints with billowing clouds and every hue of sky and water.”
When I see pretty flowers, or look at a giant mountain or watch a vibrant sunset, I can’t help but feel a deep connection to God. I can help but understand that God was involved in every part of this world’s creation.

“God is the Creator of the heavens and the earth and all things that are in them, that all nature bears testimony of that divinely directed creation, and that there is complete harmony between nature, science, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.” (Boyd K. Packer)
2) Authors
Author Victor Hugo celebrates the “miraculous relationships between beings and things; in this inexhaustible whole, from the sun to aphid. … All the birds that fly hold the thread of eternity in their claws. … A nebula is an anthill of stars.”

I’m eternally grateful for a loving God, who has lovingly blessed us with a beautiful world. I’m grateful that even when life is not so lovely… There are simple but lovely creations all around us. A mountain. A tiny, but an incredibly complex flower. An entire ocean filled with life. An entire sky filled with colors and clouds.
3) Speeches
In his BYU Speech titled “Stand Forever”, Lawrence E Corbridge says it better than I ever could: “The most phenomenal occurrences of all time and eternity—the most amazing wonders, the most astounding, awesome developments—are the most common and widely recognized. They include: I am; you are; we are; and all that we perceive exists as well, from subatomic particles to the farthest reaches of the cosmos and everything in between, including all of the wonders of life. Is there anything greater than those ordinary realities? No. Nothing else even comes close. You can’t begin to imagine, much less describe, anything greater than what already is.

In light of what is, nothing else should surprise us. It should be easy to believe that with God all things are possible.
The healing of the withered hand is not nearly as amazing as the existence of the hand in the first place. If it exists, it follows that it can certainly be fixed when it is broken. The greater event is not in its healing but in its creation.
More phenomenal than resurrection is birth. The greater wonder is not that life, having once existed, could come again but that it ever exists at all.
More amazing than raising the dead is that we live at all. A silent heart that beats again is not nearly as amazing as the heart that beats within your breast right now…How can you believe in extraordinary things such as angels and gold plates and your divine potential? Easy, just look around and believe…I don’t know if pigs will ever sprout wings and fly, but if they do, flying pigs will never be nearly as amazing as the ordinary pig in the first place.”
I am so very grateful for a beautiful world!!!
