General Conference Review

General Conference is now past. I have always enjoyed watching talks, learning from the speakers and, feeling the Spirit. This General Conference, President Monson announced that five new temples are going to be built in Brasília, Brazil; the greater Manila, Philippines, area; Nairobi, Kenya; Pocatello, Idaho; and Saratoga Springs, Utah.

There were also many great talks. A few of my favorite ones were: Drawing the Power of Jesus Christ into Our Lives (Russell M. Nelson), Stand Up Inside and Be All In (Gary B. Sabin), The Power of the Book of Mormon (Thomas S. Monson), Don’t Look Around, Look Up! (Yoon Hwan Choi), and How Does the Holy Ghost Help You? (Gary E. Stevenson) All of these talks are very good. I encourage you to read or listen to them.

This quote was from Elder Nelson’s talk. The prophets and apostles can teach you many important and profound teachings. Study what they say. I know that they are called of God.

What was your favorite talk? Why was it your favorite?

I am 19 years old. I would describe myself as a spunky and happy person. I love to read, draw, play the piano, and be outside. I love music, especially good ole classic rock. You can't go wrong with a saxophone and guitar solo in one song (i am looking at you Pink Floyd).
