A Night at the Museum with the Arlington Ward Young Women

The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston is free on Wednesday nights so we took advantage and spent a few hours there for one of our activities.  The girls loved seeing the exhibits and especially the Chihuly sculpture behind them.

Whether you live in a big city or a small town, there are places to visit and explore. When you plan activities to fill your young women calendar, encourage your YW leaders and the young women to get out there and take advantage of what’s near you! Hike on a nature trail, visit a museum, support one of your friends who may be performing in a concert or a play. It’s fun to hang out with young women at church, but it’s a different kind of getting to know each other when you step outside the routine meeting location and have fun together.

Author profile

I grew up in the LA area and moved to Boston sight unseen and am never leaving New England. I work as an assistant in the president's office at MIT and do photography on the side. I am in YW for the third time (I am the Beehive counselor) and I love it. My hobbies are photography, antiquing, baking, sewing, quilting, blogging (and reading lots of blogs), writing letters, reading on the subway and exploring around New England (there is lots to see!).
